Using the military’s protected federal marks is a sure way to find yourself in federal court. They also don’t seem too amused with parodies of their marks.  A colleague said it best: “Pick your own battles.”

By the way, to the armed forces, these are both big money and a reputation to protect. They will fight to the death.
