Only legalized gambling (lottery, racehorse simulcasting or bingo) allowed at New York alcohol retailers

New York’s Alcohol Beverage Control Law Section 106(6) provides that

No person licensed to sell alcoholic beverages shall permit any gambling on the licensed premises, or permit such premises to become disorderly.

Exceptions:

the sale of lottery tickets,

playing of bingo or games of chance,

simulcast pursuant to the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law.
