Roadside farm stands can only source hard cider from farm wineries

Roadside farm market licensees may sell wine produced by up to two duly licensed farm wineries or special wineries or micro-wineries [ABCL §76-f].  The statute is limited to wine, not cider, and does not include a farm cidery. Thus COLA approved wine labels for low alcohol fruit (apple) wines can be sold at farm markets but NYSLA approved farm cidery hard cider labeled products cannot be sold at roadside farm markets.
